I kind of hate making "pieces." I like drawing intuitively on a a sheet of paper and not worrying about a huge concept. Whatever looks good I say. Plus, I like to draw small with a sharp pencil or a black 005 micron marker. I get any bigger than that and it ruins the detail and concentration for me. I feel I have more control with a smaller canvas.
